Pachesham Agility was established in 1996 by Eleanor and Ian Balchin. They were instructors at North Downs DTC for many years before leaving to create Pachesham Agility. Both have been competing at the highest level in agility since the 1980s, with many wins at Crufts and Olympia and representing their country in international competitions.
At Pachesham we run approximately 15 agility classes a week for all sizes of dog from beginner to competition. We also offer workshops and 121 training. Our members range from young children to pensioners; fit and active to less mobile or disabled. Anyone can do agility and have fun with it.
We run regular entry level shows to encourage dogs and handlers new to competition as well as our Winter Series which was the first of its kind.
All training and events take place at Pachesham Equestrian Centre in Leatherhead. We are lucky to have year round use of the indoor school although in the summer we move outside to train on grass, unless it’s raining, and we sometimes use the outdoor arenas. You can warm your dog up before class with a walk through the woods or around the cross country course.
